In Matthew 7:21 God speaks out to us about the danger of not seeking Him. Many people think that being a good person or just believing in God is enough, but with God it’s very personal. He created humans to have a personal and intimate relationship with Him. He is our Father and wants us to know Him and spend time with Him. There is an old phrase that’s called ‘the 18 inches from heaven’. It refers to the 18 inches between your head and your heart. Knowing about God is not enough. God wants you to spend the life that He gave you with Him. He loves you and nothing that you have ever said or done has changed that. God’s love is unbreakable. He wants a personal relationship with you. Just ask Him into your everyday life, into everything that you do. You will be surprised by the difference that God will make in just your everyday routine. He loves to be invited in. Make it personal not just a belief or a religion by name. The price that He paid for your salvation came at a great cost. God loved the world so much that He sent is only begotten son to die for you. Jesus paid your ransom in full, now all you have to do is invite Jesus into your heart.
Matthew 7:21
[21] “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord’, will enter the kingdom of heaven. Only those who do what my father in heaven wants will enter.”
[22] “Many will say to me on that day, ‘Lord Lord, Didn’t we prophesy in your name? Didn’t we drive out demons in your name? Didn’t we do many miracles in your name?”
[23] Then I will tell them clearly, “I never knew you. Get away from me, you who do evil”.
